Tax-efficient trading
Our ISA and SIPP accounts offer tax shelters for your investments.
You can protect up to £7,200 a year from tax on interest or capital growth in an ISA. You should remember that the beneficial tax treatment of ISAs may not continue in the future.
With a SIPP you can enjoy tax relief on contributions at either basic or higher rate tax (depending on your personal circumstances) and claim a tax free lump sum and taxable income from the age of 50. Please note that this will rise to age 55 in 2010.
In both cases the value of tax relief to you will depend on your personal circumstances. Please also bear in mind that these tax rules and the rates of tax and tax relief can change.
