Order Types
A limit order gives you the opportunity to place an order to deal at a price better than the current share price.
Let's look at an example.
It's February 17th and the current share price for MM02 is 92p. You have holding of 1,000 MM02 shares bought on 28th January for a price of 85p per share. If the price reaches 105p you would be happy to dispose your entire holding.
